Ah, okay. I don't think mine (Ford TFI) does, but I remember
something like that on the old 4.2L.

If all else fails, I'll replace the cat, but unfortunately the
whole exhaust is welded together so I can't check it without
cutting one of the pipes...
But the other thing is, I'd expect a plugged cat to cause this
kind of trouble ALL the time, not just when the engine's warm.
