JPOR: 3.8L identification
Back to my V6 ID problem. A friend has a nondescript V6 in his '73 CJ5.
Sounds to me like a Buick 231, but we're curious about the year and
donor vehicle, and about the odd/even fire setup. He writes:

Do I just need to have him call a GM dealer and have them run the casting
number(s), or is there another way?
He also thinks it has a stock T14A, but at this point we're really not sure.
