JPOR: Chevy 454 question

      Well I just picked up a 76 RV.  Now I finally
have a tow vehicle for my trailer & Jeep.  Funny part
is now that I have the RV (tow vehicle), trailer and
Jeep. The Jeep is not running.  I can never seem to
have all three at once.

      Question: The starter will not fire while it's
cranking.  I have to crank the engine, then turn the
key back to run before it fires.  This makes it very
hard to starting, any ideas?

Anyone have info / web pages about the 454?
