Re: JPOR: Tapered Reamers
I borrowed one from a Stock Car fabricator friend of mine. He gets them
through Behling Racing Equipment, 5170 North 125th Street, Butler, WI
53007 (800) 255-4117 Fax-(414) 783-6293. They carry one for tie rod
ends and one for ball joints. They use a six flute spiral. They each
list for $119.50 which was out of my price range. #80770 is the smaller
one at 1.5" taper per foot and #80771 is the larger one at 2" taper per
foot. I don't know who actually manufactures them, but I couldn't find
them through any tool catalog that I could find. Perhaps you could
check the local race car builder. Jeff
