OK, I just had another idea. Why not some type of "kicker" shock. I have
seen a couple of Ford Mustangs with this and it could work in a Jeep. You
take stock rear axle shock mounts and weld them in the same position and
right next to the stock ones. Then you put another mount on the frame or on
the t-case skid plate. You sould still get the for and aft movement of the
axle but you would dampen the effect of the spring wrap. The stiffer the
shock the better, probably. Would that work or would that just be useless?
Spring wrap is a quick process, right? If you slow it down with the shock
it would work, I think.
