Ben,
The rust comes from the inside not outside. My tank rusted on the inside from sitting to
much in one year. I got mine coated at Tank Renu it was like $165 the tank was around
$250 - $300 but to be honest that was so long ago I don't really remember. When they
coated it they added a steel sump the old one was plastic and would have melted when they
coated it. Thats why the few extra bucks for stainless may not be bad. He can build
whatever you want. He could put anything on it you get the parts he does the welding. You
do the design pretty much too. I had mine built to around 23.5 gallons with one big
baffle splitting the tank in two. I haven't noticed alot of sloshing. Call me and I can
