I was hoping to get some extra security in the process (since the fuel
will be riding with me I wanted things like reed valves on the vents in
case I go rubber side up) but I'm getting so frustrated (and Moab is
approaching quickly) that I may go that route.

That'd make the gauge issue easy. I'm not a big fan of intank pumps
though.

Did he build the little slosh area or did you use a plastic one out of a
stock tank?

I don't need stainless, It'll be in the desert so rust isn't a problem
and I'll have it covered with carpet so I don't care about appearance.
Speaking of prices though, how much did your's run (if you don't mind me
asking), I'd like a ballpark figure of what I'm in for.
