Project Comanche- Gearing and Locker
The Comanche labored to turn the previous 30" tires; the new 33" tires were hopeless. The larger diameter, increased weight, and greater rolling resistance all combined to toss a virtual anchor behind my Comanche. At least the solution to this problem was easy to come by: new differential gears. And since the differentials had to be disassembled, it seemed like the perfect time to add an ARB Air Locker to the mix. |

Project Comanche - Fixed Yoke Kit
The Comanche driveline gets an update with the addition of an SYE kit. Installing a suspension lift and big tires has an effect on every related component and will often find your vehicle's weakest link and exploit it. If this happens out in the wilderness, it can make for a long day. I'll take the convenience of floorjacks and air tools instead of blocking the middle of the trail. |
