CalRocs - Reno, Nevada 2002
The third event on the Calrocs circuit was intended as a clash of the big rigs, and it didn't let anyone down. There were many repeat offenders on the check-in registry at the tech inspection, as well as some new contenders to the fold. By the looks on the faces of the common folk driving by, you would have thought the lunar probe had fallen to earth. The blacktop was covered with monster Buggies, Jeeps, Cruisers, Broncos, Suzukis, and Toyotas, or something formerly known as one of the above.
dcp_0028.jpg HEI Distributor on Jeep 258
I have a Ford truck, but I seem to be a big fan of putting GM parts in my Jeeps. GM parts tend to be simple, reliable, inexpensive, and easy to find. These are all the features you want in a part that goes in your Jeep. That is why I put a GM HEI distributor on my Jeep 258 engine.
DCP_0024.JPG Project Invasion
Project Invasion is a 1975 Jeep J-10 pickup that is being built to accomplish two goals. During the week, the truck will be a work truck to drive around town. During the weekends, the truck needs to be ready to hit the high mountain passes for camping and exploration. The major goal for this project is to get the truck ready for the Ouray 2002 Full Size Jeep Invasion, so the project is named after the event.

Jeep News
OffRoadOnly X-Line Winch Replacement and Extension Lines
OffRoadOnly introduces their X-Line™ winch products, made of Technora™, a para-aramid fiber. Technora™ has high tensile strength, high modulus and excellent resistance to heat and chemicals, especially acids and alkalis. This is extremely important because of the heat generated by the winch and the high alkali environment in desert wheeling.
OffRoadOnly X-Line Recovery Straps
OffRoadOnly introduces their X-Line™ Recovery Straps. These are not your typical straps that will wear out or allow a hook to cut through. They are built to the highest standards. Features include a UV protection coating, a Wear Guard on all sewn splices, and leather-reinforced eyes.
Full Size Jeep Invasion
Join the Colorado Full Size Jeep Association and fellow jeep enthusiasts for a 40th anniversary celebration of the introduction of the full- sized Jeep Wagoneer and J-series pickup. The festivities will take place in Ouray, Colorado and surrounding areas on August 15 to 17, 2002.
