Shafts Wrangler Dana 30 Front Warn Hub Conversion
Bryan Archambeault gets serious with his Dana 30 with a Warn hub conversion kit for his Wrangler. The kit adds manual locking hubs and gets rid of the troublesome vacuum disconnect.
Project DIY's drive train Project Do It Yourself 's Drive Train
Project Do It Yourself's Drive Train. A Chevy 4.3 V-6 with TBI, Jeep T-18 with a Ford input shaft and a Dana 20 make for a compact drive train that can be mounted high to clear rocks and forward for better drive line angles.
Shock Rear Shock Mount Extensions for Jeep Wranglers
It is possible to install longer rear shocks on a Jeep Wrangler YJ without cutting the tub. Often rear shocks in a YJ will limit travel and you cannot run a longer shock without moving the shock mount point.
15 to 20 Gallon Gas Tank Trick
Jeff Yokomura shows you how to magically turn your 15 gallon Wrangler gas tank into a 20 gallon gas tank. If you have no money, but you can spare half an hour, this modification is for you!
shafts Weak Link
Some Jeep Grand Cherokees have constant velocity joints in the front axles. Follow along as we upgrade to the more common Spicer style u-joint.
Graphic courtsey of Superior Axle & Gear Superior Axle & Gear's New Super 35 Detroit Kit

Superior Axle & Gear's New Super 4.88 Gears
Superior Axle & Gear has finally introduced their new 4.88 gears for the AMC Model 20, Dana 30 (standard and reverse rotation) and the Dana 35. You are no longer limited to 4.56 gears.  The additional 7% torque multiplication roughly makes up the difference between 33-in and 35-in tires.  If you plan on running bigger meats, then check out these new gears!
Chris on a Rock Currie Ford 9" High Pinion Install
The Dana 35C which comes on many Jeep products is hardly heavy enough for the modifications which many of us do to our vehicles. Currie Enterprises offers a bolt-in replacement which is bullet-proof and will improve your driveline angles.
Jeep Wrangler AX-15 to 700R4 transmission swap
It has to be one of the biggest debates of the Jeeping world, stick or auto? Every time I see the subject come up in one of our forums or mailing lists I know everyone will have an opinion. For various reasons, I decided to swap out my AX-15 5 speed manual for a 700R4 4 speed automatic.
ARB Upgrade Your Dana 30 Front with an ARB Air Locker
I had been considering swapping out my Dana 30 and Dana 35c axles for some time. However, the Pro-Comp Coil Conversion Suspension kit that I have did not offer any axle options other than the stock YJ Dana 30 and 35c. So, I decided if I want to have a stronger front end, I was going to have to bite the bullet and upgrade my Dana 30.
