A visual comparison of the 297-X and it's replacement, the 760-X
Spicer has decided to phase out the old reliable 297-X U-joint and replace it with the new 760-X. Will it be an improvement or a problem? Only time will tell. Until then, check out the close up comparison photos and judge for yourself.

This shot is just for fun. It's a 297 compared to a 332 from a Dana 60. This should explain why people upgrade to Dana 60 front axles. |
