Kilby YJ Gas Tank Skid Plate
Kilby Enterprises YJ Gas Tank Skid

Burbank, California, September 17, 2001. Kilby Enterprises announced today the release of their new Jeep Wrangler YJ gas tank skid plate. Built from heavy-duty 3/16" steel plate, the new tank skid replaces the inferior stock shield and offers greater protection and clearance. With increased differential clearance and greater departure angles, the Kilby Enterprises YJ Gas Tank skid offers superior armor for any YJ owner.

To insure precision, the skid is laser cut, formed and welded together for a perfect fit. The skid is a direct replacement for the stock shield, utilizing original mounting locations. Additionally, it provides greater room in front of the tank for custom axles.

Installation of the skid requires basic hand tools. Available immediately from Kilby Enterprises, the skid costs $185 plus shipping, unpainted, $210 plus shipping, black powder coated.
