I have been using the vacuum hose diagrams made by Don Huysmans to check my setup, this helped a lot to find some problems, but my vehicle is a 1989 Dodge Raider 2.6 manual AC with altitude compensator so it has some extra things.
Here is a list of problems that where detected.
The vacuum delay valve (small white, black and yellow cylinder) was plugged to the auxiliary acelerator pump instead of the manifold conection wich had no hose, when i removed the hoses fuel came out of the vacuum lines and vacuum delay valve, i used a vacuum pump to test the auxiliary aceleration pump vacuum conection and fuel comes out from it when you apply vacuum.
The thermo switch (2 vacuum conections and bolted to the cooling system) has one broken conection (the one that should go to the auxiliary aceleration pump) need to get a new one, but how do i check the parts that where exposed to fuel before replacing it? (AAP, vacuum delay valve, etc.).
The altitude compensator has a broken conection (the one that's single) i already have the replacement but i don't know where to plug the missing hose.
There is a small part on the fender that has 2 vacuum hose conections and a electrical conector with 2 wires, one of the vacuum conections is broken and the electric conector is missing.
The carburetor has 2 capped conections, where do i plug them?
I would apreciate if you can give me the information.
