Bad Fuel - Lack of Power
      12/22/06 08:45 PM

Hey guys,
A month or so ago, I bought some fuel that I think was either bad, or contained some water. My 2.7L hasn't been running well ever since. I noticed my truck running worse immediately opun leaving the service station.

I've tried all kinds of additives (alcohol and the like), ran the fuel down to nothing and refilled with premium several times, but nothing seems to help restore power. Recently, I've noticed the power come back somewhat, but it's touch and miss.

Then only thing I haven't done is replace the fuel filter, but only because of where it's located.

The only thing I can think of is that I got alot of water and the truck hasn't burned it all out yet. Seems crazy though, because I've run 5 or 6 tankfuls of gas through it since then.. Can anyone offer comments, suggestions?? Help!

Thanks!!
