I need to rebuild both knuckles wondering has anyone used Trail Gear or Marlins rebuild kits.
Trail Gear- Our service kit contains all standard replacement parts including gaskets, felts, seals, washers and shims. Kit included inner axle seals and outer felt covers. If your using your truck in the rocks you will want to replace these covers when you service the knuckles. Knuckle kit has all the parts you need to services both left and right knuckles.
If i get the kit from Trail Gear and get Backing Plate Eliminator(140058-1-K) & Rock-Ring Knuckle Felt Protectors(140051-1-K) are they going to be better then the ones you get in the Knuckle Service Kit? Just want to know if I would be wasting my money ordering this two products.
Marlin- Includes all the standard knuckle service parts: wipers, felts, gaskets, lock washers, inner axle & bearing seals, hub gaskets, knuckle shims, and High Quality Japanese NSK knuckle bearings.
