Homemade Bumper

Has anyone made their own bumper for a GenII Montero. I can weld good, and have metal, looking for any problems anyone may have ran into making there bumpers, on any vehicle for that matter. I wanted my bumper to also possibly house a winch, suggestions greatly apprecieated. If you have any pictures of your homemade bumper I would love to see them.
