power steering pump removal-98 3.2 rodeo
      12/17/04 04:50 PM

Parts are ordered to do the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and IMG. Saw in a post someplace about removing the power steering pump on the 98 3.2, (this would help avoid cracking the belt cover). Well I rember that the post said to remove 3 bolts thru the holes in the pully and the pump could be moved far enough out of the way to get to the bolt on the cover and remove the cover with no problem. WELL, the three bolts are out but pump is not going anyplace, WHAT DID I MISS.
