I spent all day Sat. putting in my new T-case gears just to find out that the rear trany oil seal that All-pro sent me was the wrong one. I was a little mad that after all day working on this I could not put it back in . I ran down to Autozone the next morning and the one there computer calls for is the same one I had (along with every other parts place in town). None of the ones that they had where the right size(1.25 inside, 2.048 outside). One place could match it up but It would bee 2 days at least. So this makes wonder what trany I might have. I always thought I had the L-52. Was there any other options in 83'. How do I look at it and tell what it is , maybe some one swaped in another.
Do I have to do any breaking in of my new 4.7 Tranfer case gears(form All-pro).
Thanks
