It's quite possable that the Tracker t-case might bolt right up to the Sporty tranny even if it's not the same t-case. If I remember correctly, the Sporty t-case has 10 bolts and one dowel pin. Is the Tracker the same?

Does anybody know what the output shaft spline of the tranny is for the Sporty and for the Tracker?

possible, but not "quite" and not likely. it is much more likely that it will LOOK like it will bolt up and even measure up pretty well, but as soon as you lift it up there, nothing will match.



here's my idea of a best bet- let's get someone to build us a case for a doubler in front of our stock cases. they build us a case- machine it out of steel or, hell, even aluminum, even cast it in aluminum, as long as it's strong. then, we buy an extra set of just the low-range equipment from a stock Sportage at the junkyard or from the dealer or NAPA, whoever's got some and build the internals ourselves. in fact, you know what? i'm getting on this, right now.
