Gen1 Alignment Specs
      06/22/04 01:49 PM

Just went to the frame shop and got the specs after my complete front-end rebuild, including shaving the bump-stops and cranking the t-bars to level to match-up with 2.5" of coil lift.

Specs aren't out too far, but I'm confused if the manual is correct calling for 1 degree positive camber (within 1/2 degree). Shouldn't it be negative? If it's supposed to be positive, that one's a long way off. Here's what I read:

D/S Camber = negative 3/4
P/S Camber = negative 3/4

D/S Caster = positive 2 3/4
P/S Caster = positive 3 1/2

FSM gives caster spec at 2 degrees, 55 minutes (call it 3) plus/minus 1 degree and both sides within 1/2 degree. I've always thought it best to have the P/S about 1/2 higher, so I'm close.

Any advice on the camber or caster? Is the deviation worth further adjustment?
