Torque converter lockup problem
      05/17/04 06:32 PM

Seems like this is a pretty active board, so I'll pose this question here. My TC lockup has been acting up for a while, and now, it only locks after it has sit for a while, usually overnight. It works fine until you drive it for a while, then it quits locking up. It doesn't get hot that I can tell. The temp sensor was unplugged (after the problem started), and the fluid and filter changed. I have no idea what sensor it uses to engage, the process, or what tells it to disengage. I know it's hooked to the brake somehow, and have though that switch might be sticking somehow. Any info would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks.
