Re: Calmini shocks vs. rancho 9000's

When I was considering a Calmini lift kit, I asked the Calmini rep if their shocks were as good as the Rancho 9000's. He basically said that he didn't have any complaints about the Calmini shocks (I think they are made by Gabriel), but it was not a fair comparison since the Rancho's cost about $75 and the Calmini's about $35. I guess he was implying that you get what you pay for.

I got the Rancho 9000's and the Indy4X lift, and I love the set up. I keep the shocks pretty soft on the highway, but about the middle setting off-road.
