Cheap 12V Hydro Pump

I'm slowly building up my $270 Ebay trailer... it came with no wiring, no decking, and a deck setup to pivot over the frame.
I set up the hinges before the holidays, so that the 14-foot deck pivots 4 feet from the rear (leaving ten feet of deck forward), and DANG that sucker is heavy. I was thinking I might be able to get around installing the hydraulic ram that came with the trailer, but after one session loading a vehicle, that option is out. Balancing the trailer deck with the vehicle wight of the loaded vehicle, all while not overshooting the deck... well, I don't want to buy clean shorts for the crew everytime we load.
So, I'm back to the intent of the original trailer builder, and his box of 120V hydro pump (he was thinking about converting the motor) and stout ram... and I'd rather just spring the bucks for a decent pump...
Does anyone have suggestions on where I can find (junkyard, perhaps?) a 12V hydro pump? My folks have a nice little setup that runs the slide-outs in their fifth wheel, but they might notice if that was gone.
