Just to clarify this... Mitsu didn't actually start manufacturing these "Jeeps" until after WWII. As part of our effort to help rebuild Japan, we gave them the plans and tooling to be able to build them. Especially after we f'd her up as badly as we did.
They may have built a 4x4 for combat use, but it wasn't a "jeep" until after we gave them our plans....
However, I don't know if it looked similar or now.
