Fabricated and installed front license plate holder
      06/11/12 11:18 PM

For the longest time I've been driving around w/out the front plate mounted to my bumper so this past weekend, I decided to figure out a way to mount it to my bumper.

After taking a closer look at my bumper I found it was made using 2" OD tube stock. Realizing they probably made some kind of clamp for such a standard dimension, off I went to Home Depot. After a bit of searching I chose a couple of 2" conduit clamps, a piece of 12x6x1/8" aluminum plate, and stainless hardware I was able to put together a very simple & straight forward solution that I'm sure many have also done. Regardless, my front plate is now mounted so I don't have to worry about being pulled over for it.
