Started maintenance on the 89 Raider yesterday, flushed the tranny, got new 65 series battery, put 31 AT tires on, adjusted torsion bars, aligned, flushed coolant, greased everything, the concern Im having is when you start it the starter turns slow in my opinion, at first I was thinking its the cheap ass starter the guy before me put on, but the more I listen to it start Im thinking it may be in the timing(like to far advanced) what is everyone running in there v-6s?I have also noticed it starts a bit harder after its warm which led me to believe this Ive read the archives but really didnt get a straight answer. Also are they an interference engine? Is there a way to tell if the crank shaft bolt has been changed? Is the 3.0 the same engine as lets say whats in a 89 dodge caravan?Hope thats not to many questions. Thanks in advance. METALMOVER
