Typed up a post and accidentally closed the wrong tab... arghhh...
Condensed story: actuator didn't leak after I pulled it and immersed it in water. No bubbles, all is good. I suspect maybe the little compressor needs seals, but I'm going to put the 490 gears into the locker diff and worry about the compressor later.
Went into my alignment/tire/muffler shop and the owner said he can set up the diff, but wanted to know if it had a crush sleeve and if I had a new one? Where can I source one of these? He's going to need one to set up my oe diesel gears in this locking third member once I bring him both diffs... any ideas? This could be doable before I go to Moab, end of May, if I get on it soon... Anything else you can think of that he'd need to setup the diff?
