Ordered a CHS Machine Co 3VZE Hi-Pro Long Block
      04/16/12 12:02 AM

Unable to pass SMOG due to a burnt valve, the 4Runner has been sitting in the garage for years. Finally, I'll able to get this thing back on the road. Instead of just doing head work and worry about the lower end, the whole motor will be replaced. The original motor has over 220k mi. on the clock and the rear main seal has been leaking.

So I've ordered the Hi-Pro 3vze from CHS Machine/Raptor Engines.

It's $1895 by ordering direct instead of going through the website or fleaBay. $160 shipping each way and $500 core deposit.
