Injection Pump Shaft Seal Replacement (still need new replacement seal)
      04/10/12 04:17 PM

My pump seal was leaking, so I needed to replace the seal. I devised a method to remove the seal without disassembling the pump. I drilled 3 small holes in the seal that a sheet metal screw will fit into:

I found a washer that fit on the shaft and drilled 3 holes in it that the screws will fit through:

I screwed the screws into the seal through the washer and used a 3 jaw puller to pull the seal:

The seal came out without damaging the shaft or housing:

The seal size is 20mm X 31mm X 7mm. I am having a hard time finding it here in the 'States. If anyone has any idea where I can get a seal soon, please let me know. Thanks, Rich
