93 SR - Auto Transmission Slipping When Cold

My rig has 235k miles. I recently rebuilt the engine after buying a non-ready for the road rig, so I never had any prior experience with this truck. I have now driven it for approx 2500 miles since the rebuild. When it is a particularly cold day I have noticed the trans delays engaging and seems to slip a bit going into reverse and sometimes in drive after the first back out of the driveway.

I did replace the filter and flush the trans and refresh the fluid/oil before getting on the road.

Do you guys believe this trans is ready to go completely or do I have a chance at a less then complete rebuild repair?
