The only reason I was going to replace it, is because it is a relatively cheap part, and I broke the plastic keeper off the switch to keep the connector from coming loose when I repaired the harness from the PO who installed an aftermarket alarm. The wiring was hacked so bad I figured it can't hurt. Right now I'm chasing a no-spark problem on top of the slow starter. PA_JERO lent me a spare starter he had around, so I have one to swap once I get this spark thing figured out.

I may have to take a road trip up your way this weekend. Wouldn't mind getting out of the valley for a bit. I have a list of spare parts that I'd like to have around chasing this spark issue anyway. Stepper motor, power transistor, ECU, and any other odds and ends I can think of to strip out of a junk yard gen2.
