starter or battery?
      01/08/11 10:56 AM

I've noticed when the car is cold, I get a lot of clicking from the starter when it starts. It sounds like the way my Harley would with a low battery. It starts every time, but is noisy. Then when warmed up, it doesn't click at all, or maybe very little. I'm thinking it's the cold taking it's toll on the battery, but it's getting a little worse. I was just wondering if anybody who has had starter problems before thinks this may be the starter. Just got a couple inches of snow. I'll change the battery, but I'm not doing the starter lying in the snow. Right now I'm going to go play in the white stuff.
