rear axle

hello, I got a raider v6 mt and when I bought it the guy that sold it to me told me that it had a locker in the rear... However, the rear axle looks to be welded together because when you turn the tires don't turn the way they should be and it is hard t make a u turn. I have read some where that the rear axle from genII monteros with mitsu lockers fit in the 2 door raiders. however i am wondering if the gears of both axles would have to be the same in order for the front axle to work properly. if so what gearing should i be looking for.

the badge in my raider says 4636 gear ratio.
