Thanks to all the rest of you for the advice without the attitude. We did do a hi-lift test in the middle and on each end & it seemed to hold up fine. We also both jumped up and down on them to be sure since we both weighed in at close to 1 ton .

Seriously though, the question I'm hoping to answer soon is whether or not it will hold up on the trail and only way to truly know that is go for a run.

Yeah, those wheels have been with me since my 2nd Montero (since the vmag days back in the 90's ).

As for the brackets sticking up above the frame rails... they were purchased from Trail-Gear and came that way (L-shaped) along with some right angle gussets. Rather than spend time cutting the pieces I wouldn't need off (since my install wasn't going to be a simple one) we installed them that way instead.
