Removing Dash (again) Cleaning A/C, need advice. pics
      02/10/10 11:27 AM

My dash has messed up speaker grills, I found a fresh '90 Montero cash for clunkers in my local yard. I pulled the dash and plan to (as suggested here) clean the A/C this time. I pulled apart the junkyard one to learn about it.
Should I pull it all the way out (have to pay to have A/C evac'ed $45) or should I cut an access hole (as marked in pics) and clean it that way??

Here is my idea of the access hole location;
