Not all the shifts are in the same spot. Best place to go actually, is our Toyota FAQ, above.

The oddball on is the main shift that went on an L43 tranny, which was in the '82. It bolted on from the side.

An R-series is a good selection Matt, tougher that the G or W series.

Again, check the FAQ for the transfer case type for it.
