Towing an Auto 87 Monty....I think I'm screwed!
      05/20/09 06:45 PM

Well I went to Burlington to pick up my Ebay prize. Pretty damn nice truck! Well I get about 1.5 miles shy of Finch Farm Road and a freeze plug lets go and all the coolant blows out. I ease up to the BP station there shut her down. Hopefully the head isn't cracked.

Now, I call for help and a buddy shows up with a tow dolly. We strap the front wheels on put the trans in Neutral and head out. We drive about 50 miles back to Kannapolis no faster than 55-60mph.

Upon arrival I have a leaky trans and trans fluid all up the back door.

How screwed am I now? I'm really not having good luck with Montero's...old or newer!
