The 22R in my 1984 PickUp has amost 300K miles and is getting tired.
It is starting to use about 2.5 quarts over a 5000 mile period.
So I am considering a engine rebuild or 22RE engine replacement with or without the fuel injection.
I'm not looking for a big project here, I don't have a donor vehicle and it has been awhile getting famailar with the differances in the engines.

I would like to with a few basic questions hopefully the forum can answer:

1. Is there a write up on performing a 22RE install with cross-over to fuel injection to a previously non fuel injected truck ?
2. What all will I need from the Fuel injected vehicle to perform the cross-over ?
3. Does the intake manifold (carburated) or exhaust manifold swap over to the 22RE ?, as I remember one does the other does not.
