I do not know if you missed it but there is a red raider auto down at Klauers pick n pull on Montery Highway (1st). The trans oil cooler was intact when i was there last.
It may be gone or picked over but you never know. I have to find Buick Sylark and Toyota corona Speedos at tha jyard tomorrow a.m.
I will look and report back if needed.
I can even get the lines if they are cheap enough and easy to remove.
And Definite Congrats on getting the beast running!
Thanks for the kind offer to check that for me. Actually Michael has a parts rig in Livermore and I'll get the part from him cause it's the cheapest... (free )
Quote: Have to send out a bit of KUDOS To micheal (AKA Grasscat). With his help I was able to isolate and temporarily fix a tranny line leak in the hard lines that run from the auto tranny to the tranny cooler.
The leak occurred because at some time the screw on the hardmount right under the steering pump came loose and with the resultant vibration wore a hole right into the hard lines (both). With a bit of high temp RTV, rubber hose, and hose clamps it's temporarily fixed.
Seems like I told someone thats what they would find
Quote: Any one up for a wheeling trip in the near future?!?
True you did mention it Russell. I tried calling you earlier actually. R u up for a that trip?
