I have the best luck whamming the bearing cups with a socket and a BGH, yoke on a wooden block. Seems to break them loose better, and I've never bent a yoke that way, and I have bent them in a vise. I spade drill a 1" hole in the block so the opp. side cup has somewhere to be driven to.
