I guess it could be done... it would change the C/R slightly - but it could be balanced if all of the rods were milled and rebored the same.... probably just as easy/cheap to find a good used crankshaft... for now - might get tougher in a few years, though.
I was in the process of installing the new oil pump and I don't like the nose of the crank where the oil seal fits... there's a small chunk missing right at the outer edge of the seal lip. It "might" be ok, but I don't want to risk it... I'll need to put a Speedi-Sleeve on it, but the standard sizes aren't good for a dry fit.... I'll have to use a slightly larger diameter sleeve and cement it in place.... has anybody here done that to a 3.0L?
