dropping the tank isn't that hard to do. just 6 bolts i think and the 2 that hold the skid plate to the bottom of the tank. you'll have to disconnect the filler lines and fuel lines from the pump, and yes, gary was right about the panel under the back seat(earlier thread about the fuel pump). if you're lucky, the pump won't have to come out, just pull the tank out from under the truck and find a way to lift it into the air for a good look. good luck with it.
