What parts store did you go to? Everyone tells me they do not list a Fel-Pro head gasket for the 3.5.. in fact parts are very scarce for the 3.5 I've noticed (Napa tells me my engine doesn't exist!  )
Only option I have locally is $60 for a set of beck/arnley head gaskets, and I think I can have them in the morning... otherwise I'll literally be putting this truck back together in the snow in a few more weeks after finals. 
I'm trying to sand away the inside of the pin holes enough to make it fit, but I'm afraid the alignment will be off
