Finally got the main bearings from the local dealer.... installed dry for clearance checking:
Unwrapped the crankshaft to check the polish job - looks nice:
Laid in with Plasti-gage in place:
'bout perfect - all main journals appear to have between .002-.003" clearance - really closer to .002" and very consistent - dang good polish job!  :
Tomorrow, I'll final install the crankshaft.
