People talk about the need for heat on a turbo but really the cooler the air is the denser it becomes (hence and inter cooler) so moving the turbo back is really a wash if you think about it. you get all the gains of a turbo and none of the heat related problems. I'm sold on the STS system but I need to work on my SAS and other things first.

I understand that you want dense air to enter the cylinders, but a turbocharger has two halves. One half has a wheel that is turned by exhaust gases, which is connected to the other half that has a wheel that compresses incoming air. The exhaust half needs to be hot in order for the exhaust gases to have the necessary velocity to turn/spool the turbo. You are right about wanting the compressor/intake side to be cold though, that is just not related to the statement that I was making above.
