I am assuming from the red highlighted portion above that he is using a 90-95 4Runner axle which has a totally different e-brake cable system and backing plates due to the coil sprung 5 link in the back.

If the assumption is correct the swap has some different issues than you would have had using a 89 4Runner axle that came with leaf springs.

I thought that the poster would like to hear about some possible issues rather than "I did it with a different year axle than yours into a different year of rig than yours and it worked good"
