K so I got to take the 7.5 diff appart and test fit the lsd. The stock carrier was rather tight in there and it took 2 prybars to get it out so I'm assuming that is a good thing.

Anyhow here are the numbers on the stock shims and the difference in the bearing sizes.

Stock shims:
Pinion side of the gear is 112 thou

Other side was 116 thou.

Now fot the bearing sizes. The bearing outers are the same outside diameter so there is no problems with getting the supra gears in there. However the is a difference in the thickness of the outer the supra one measures 276 thou and the stock one is 243 thou.

The LSD slid in rather easy with the supra bearings and stock truck shims much easier then the stock carrier for sure. There was no play that I could notice though. How do I figure out the shim thicknes that I need?

Now I made one mistake when I took the bearing caps off I forgot to mark which side is which. Is this a big deal? Can I correct my error?

Anyhow it looks like this intall should be no problem.
