Quote: ...then the floor jack died ... So, then I spent the afternoon shopping for a new floor jack - got a chrome dual piston model with "Hot Rod" stickers on it - just had to have it to keep up the "dude" image, ya know?
I told you Ben and Zack were going to destroy your floor jack. Apparently they did. Looks like I owe you for a new one.
We enjoyed the visit. The guys are still talking about it. I like to show them actual labor going on. It builds character.
We capped our day with a quick stop by The Manifest Discs and Tapes on the way out of town. And it rained like the mischief all the way home.
While the boys were some help in our endeavour (step-n-fetch it) they spent some idle hours playing with the floor jack and such. I think Ben borrowed the creeper for a little nap under the truck while Frank and I wrestled with those bolts on top of the bellhousing.
While it's true, I do sort of know my way around underside of one of these trucks, it was a learning experience for me too.
