Frank,
Maybe you can see some of my frustration while doing the numerous transmission swaps, I do not have any body lift on either trucks. I got away with using a swivel socket, and a universal joint to get those top bolts out. That was where a good set of MAC and Snap-on tools came in handy. I'll tell ya though, the reassembly is the worse part without a body lift because you have to fit the trans fill tube on and slip the bolt in which holds down also something else, making it really difficult to get it all back together. I'm young and have small hands so I am always able to get those bolts in from up above reaching down.
I hope that sucker works for ya! I still can't beleive all you guys telling me to rebuild my trans myself, there's no way I could have gone through what you did, Frank.
