I don't know if I'd call it "wavy", but it wasn't very flat. The only purpose I can see that a non-flat shim could serve would be to eliminate plate chatter, but it's not bent in a manner that would suggest that was the purpose - and I would think if that was the idea, a similar shim would be used in the other clutch assemblies, agree?
Kevin, did you re-install the shim in your transmission?
